| Welcome to JudoDiva.
JudoDiva is a giant step in the direction of one family's passion for a crazy, hard & downright wonderful sport, Judo! My two daughters, Grace, 9 and Kirsten, 6, started their Judo journeys in the summer of 2007, after accompanying a friend to a practice.
The very next day, they both started taking classes, which were quickly followed by a few local tournaments, which soon led to a few state tournaments... (see where I'm going with this?) As a family, we love the new friends and exciting adventures our dojo has to offer & look forward to many years to come!
So, where did JudoDiva come into play? Did I mention my little girls have dabbled in soccer, dance, softball, basketball, and the list goes on? And what do all of these sports have in common? Cool "Girl Power" shirts!
Starting the spectacular sport of Judo, I scoured the internet for some really neat shirts & stuff but what I found was pretty mundane. So, with a background in advertising & knowing the right wonderful people to make things happen... Poof! JudoDiva was born
…and soon to follow, DojoDude! (We can't leave the boys out! Girls, you will thank me one day! Hopefully, a day far, far away!)
I hope and expect this site to grow just like our love for Judo! I want it to develop into a place for our girls to go & be able to share their experiences & keep in touch with their fellow JudoDiva's!
We girls have to stick together!
Check back regularly. This, like our girls, is a definite work in progress!
Keep pinn'n & grinn'n!
